The history of Marinelli company started in Pesaro, dating back to 1973, when Giordano Marinelli, moved and led by his passion and business mind, decided to found Marinelli Prefabbricati a factory producing prefabricated components with his brother Bruno.

Though focused at first to produce moulded elements for furniture, the company thought later to widen its offer in terms of products. Hence they started producing also semi-finished components for home furniture, thus giving both an important contribution to boost the local furniture industry and to develop the so called “Region Marches' industrial model role”.

Thanks to the capability that the company has shown since then to keep up with the market demand, Marinelli Prefabbricati gained then a real leadership position in the field.

The success achieved pushed Giordano Marinelli to try also the industrial sector of kitchens, gaining in short time the same success as he reached earlier in the domain of semi-finished elements.

 

But the starting point of the real boost to the growth of the company is to be traced back when Giordano's sons entered the managerial area of the business: Massimo, skilled in industrial automation processes; Andrea, expert in trade planning.

Their precious contribution together with the clever policy chosen to run the company that means self-financing, reinvestment of incomes and a sustainable growth, led Marinelli Prefabbricati to overcome successfully the recession of the year 2009. In 2010, Marinelli Prefabbricati widened its range of furniture products and specialized in the production of living rooms, bedrooms and children's bedrooms, too. Thanks to the investments made for new and highly performing manufacturing processes and machinery as well, Marinelli creates everyday functional and design home interiors which are widely appreciated by its customers because of both the amazingly favourable price-quality relationship and the incomparable lead-time they can be offered. That's the reason why the company has proudly gained and kept its leadership position on the Italian market so far.

Marinelli is a great and important Italian manufacturing institution which is still keeping on spreading. All the products offered are definitely Made in Italy. Each item is produced in Pesaro, inside the 8 plants belonging to the company which cover a total surface of 80.000 square metres.

The automation processes in use, highly industrialized, allow to reach high levels of production thus providing extremely competitive delivery times.

 

Eight millions of square metres of woody panels are processed every year to achieve a daily production and delivery of 600 bedrooms, 300 living rooms and 200 children's bedrooms.

This important production capacity, together with the high competitiveness of the firm in terms of “good price matching good quality” led Marinelli to conquer the domestic market and to find a successful position abroad as well.
